The actual dates set for two semifinals are 10 May and 12 May 2011, while the final appointed at the evening of 14 May 2011. 43 countries have proved their participation in the contest, while having the ones coming back again such as Austria, which previous participated in 2007; Hungary, which last taken part in 2009; and San Marino, that last took part in 2008.
